Insurance
We document the loss and bill your carrier directly
What we can do is paperwork and evidence. What we cannot do is decide your coverage — and we will never pretend otherwise.
What we do
— We document the loss. Photographs, moisture readings, an inventory of affected materials, and dated notes for every day we are on site.
— We provide itemized estimates for your adjuster's review. Line by line, in the format carriers read.
— We coordinate with your adjuster on site. We walk the property, show what we found, and explain what was removed and why.
— We bill your insurance carrier directly. You do not front the cost of the work we bill.
— We preserve evidence. Failed components, affected materials and site conditions are recorded before anything is discarded, to avoid spoliation issues if a subrogation claim follows.
What we do not do
This part matters as much as the first. A restoration contractor is not a public adjuster, and in many states the line is legal rather than editorial.
— We do not file, prepare or manage your claim. You or your representative do that.
— We do not interpret your policy. We will not tell you what is covered, because we do not know and we are not licensed to say.
— We do not negotiate your settlement. Coverage and settlement are determined solely by your insurer under your policy.
— We do not touch your deductible. Your deductible remains payable by you. Any contractor who offers to absorb it is offering you something that is illegal in a number of states.
What helps, if you have it
— The name of your carrier and your policy number.
— Your claim number, once you have one.
— The name and phone number of your adjuster, once one is assigned.
— Any photographs you took before we arrived.
If you have none of it yet, that is fine. Emergency mitigation begins on arrival, and the paperwork catches up.
Which carriers we work with
We work with policyholders insured by any carrier. We are not an agent of any insurance company, and we display no carrier logos.
[Edit: if your company is part of a carrier program or a third-party administrator (TPA) network, state it here in your own words. Never write "preferred vendor" or "approved by" a named insurer unless you can produce the agreement that says so.]
